Agadir is a major city in Agadir, Morocco, located where the Atlas Mountains meet the Atlantic Ocean.

The city has an international airport, Agadir–Al Massira Airport, with direct flights to many major European cities. Agadir can also be reached via indirect flights through Casablanca (Mohammed V International Airport).

Agadir is well connected by modern highways to other major Moroccan cities such as Marrakech (250 km), which also has an international airport, and Casablanca (470 km).

Agadir and its surrounding region offer many wonderful sightseeing opportunities. The area is close to long beaches such as Taghazout, the High Atlas mountains, and the Souss Valley region, which includes historic cities such as Taroudant and Ouarzazate.
